Below you can find guidelines on how to report electronically to eIndkomst.

You may, among other things, choose to report via TastSelv Erhverv. Using TastSelv Erhverv, you can report income information to the income register, eIndkomst.

There is no charge for using the system. You must be registered for TastSelv Erhverv and have a TastSelv PIN.

The line in the TastSelv main menu for eIndkomst is 'Indberette/forespørge på eIndkomst/LetLøn' (Reporting/enquiring about eIndkomst/LetLøn). If it cannot be found in the main menu, it can be retrieved under 'Ændre tilmeldingsoplysninger' (Change registration information). Read more at: www.tastselv.skat.dk/erhverv for more details.

You can report electronically to eIndkomst in the following ways:

If you wish to use your own payroll system

You can send your income information to SKAT via files from a payroll system. You can do this by acquiring a payroll system, which is a program in which you can enter your payroll data on your own computer.
eIndkomst is able to receive information reported via files from payroll systems which are adapted to eIndkomst.
In order to ensure that your payroll system can send files which can be received by eIndkomst, contact your payroll system supplier and make sure that your system is adapted to the new format.
You can read more about eIndkomst and the reporting format on the website.

If you wish to report as a payroll services agency or through an accounting scheme

If you wish to report on behalf of enterprises/SE numbers other than your own enterprise, there are two options:

Payroll services agency agreement
The agreement grants an enterprise (payroll services agency, accountant, pension provider or insurance company etc.) permission to report on behalf of other SE numbers. The agreement can be obtained by contacting SKAT, which will issue a signed agreement. Subsequently, the enterprise must sign the agreement and return it to SKAT. A request for such an agreement can be submitted via SKAT's contact email address.
The payroll services agency has access to the data that they have reported themselves.

Accounting scheme
Enterprises may authorise another enterprise to report on their behalf via TastSelv Erhverv (Self-Key Business). Via the accounting scheme, you have access to all information entered/submitted irrespective of who has reported/submitted the information.

You can read more about the accounting scheme below. Choose the category to which you belong:
Are you an accountant? Click here.

Accountant means any registered enterprise which levies VAT, payroll tax, excise duties and/or A tax on behalf of one or more other registered enterprises.

Are you a client? Click here.
Client means a registered enterprise which lets an accountant report to SKAT on its behalf.
For more information on file transfer, click here.

Files containing several SE numbers can be submitted under both schemes. If the enterprise uses an EDI mailbox, it will receive tax cards in files containing several SE numbers. If an EDI mailbox is used, a payroll services agency agreement must be established.

If downloading is used, there is one file per SE number.

(For the purpose of this guide, the designations ‘Payroll services agency agreement' and ‘Accounting scheme' are merely used to describe the affiliation between the reporting party and the party with the reporting obligation. Thus, none of the schemes require that you are an accountant or function as a payroll services agency in general).

If you are a customer with a payroll services agency

A payroll services agency is an enterprise which handles the complete task involved in reporting salary/wage information. You submit the salary/wage information to your payroll services agency, which is responsible for calculations, creation of payslips, reporting etc. and for submitting income information to the income register - eIndkomst.

If you wish to report via TastSelv Erhverv

Much of the information which you currently report via TastSelv Erhverv has been gathered in a new reporting function for eIndkomst.

If you wish to report via the LetLøn system

LetLøn is an electronic receiving system for the salary/wage-related information which employers are required to report to SKAT etc. You can also use a number of payroll systems in the LetLøn system as well as the available online calculation scheme, which primarily is targeted at private enterprises with relatively few employees. The calculation scheme is web-based, enabling you to report salary/wage information etc. and having A tax calculated etc. via screens online.
Moreover, a payment scheme is attached in the LetLøn system.

If you wish to use SKAT's entry program.

SKAT offers a Windows-based computer program ‘eIndkomstindberetning' (eIncome reporting). Access the program here:
Reporting program for eIndkomst

The program can be downloaded from the Internet and is used to upload files to eIndkomst via TastSelv Erhverv. The program can also handle files such as comma-separated files.
