DMS System-to-system is now in normal operation, and the use of fallback procedures are no longer allowed. We will, of course, continue to monitor the system closely.

There may still be extended response times.

Several companies are now experiencing that some submissions go through in the DMS System-to-System. However, the system is unstable and is expected to remain so for some time yet. There may also be extended response times.

Permission for fallback procedures is still granted to the necessary extent.

The Customs Agency continues to provide extended service with phone opening hours at 72 22 12 12 until 9:00 PM.

There are still issues with the DMS System-to-system, and permission Fallback procedures is therefore still being granted as necessary.

We are working hard to resolve the issues and are experiencing some progress. However, we unfortunately cannot yet say when the problems will be resolved.


Status 11:15

We are still experiencing problems with DMS System-to-System. Therefore, permission is granted for fallback procedures to the extent necessary.

Status at 8:00 PM:
We are working hard to restart our systems, and some of them are running again after Friday's crash. As it stands, however, we do not expect to have DMS System-to-System up and running today. This is particularly affecting large exporters. We will be increasing staffing at our customs offices from early Monday morning, and we continue to encourage you to contact your local customs office with questions about specific import, export or shipment cases. Our telephone support is open from 8:00 AM for technical questions and from 9:00 AM for general questions.

The Danish Customs Agency’s IT systems have been affected by IT problems across the Tax Administration. The problems have affected systems for Import and DMS Import, DMS Export and DMS Forsendelse (Transit) as well as our ability to communicate internally and externally. We are in the process of restarting the systems. We expect extended response times while we are testing and subsequently when queues are being cleared.


DMS Import, DMS Export and DMS Forsendelse (Transit) is currently not available for file transfers through AS4 Gateway.

The online solutions in DMS are available.

Import Classic is available for file transfers through Told Gateway.

Due to the special situation, we are open for telephone inquiries on Saturday until 9 pm and again on Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.
