The Danish Tax Agency recommend providers and companies to establish trust on the Intermediate CA and Root CA for full certificate chain validation.

The advantage is that your certificates are automatically renewed, so you do not have to worry about certificate expiration and thus possible downtime in your EMCS B2B solution.

If you do not establish trust, you must make sure that your certificate is renewed with each update in the future by keeping an eye on the EMCS Github page. In the future, it is expected that certificates will be renewed more often than before for security reasons.

Declarations fails when some Polish customs offices are selected as custom office of exit.

The export declaration will be directed to the correct customs office when the Polish customs agent or the Polish customs officers submit the arrival notification to the customs office of exit (also known as IE507)
