There are still issues with EORI validation that can affect several customs systems.
If your company has attained an EORI number after January 4th, the EORI number has not yet been activated and can therefore not be validated. This means that declarations for Import, Export and Transit cannot be lodged in the systems if the EORI number has been obtained after January 4th. If this is the case for you, you can contact the Customs ServiceDesk to obtain permission to follow the emergency procedure.
Besides the issue with EORI-numbers, there have been some problems regarding changes to existing authorizations after the 10th of January 2024. If you experience any problems with recent changes to authorizations, you can contact the Customs ServiceDesk.
We expect the issue to be resolved Monday the 29th of January 2024.
