If you are a start-up, you must have a CVR no. or SE no. (if you do not have a Danish address) to get started. In this case, you must set up your business at www.virk.dk. Follow the steps below:

• Go to www.virk.dk, and enter 40.110 (or 40.112 for the English version) in the search field.
• Click ‘Registrering af udenlandsk virksomhed - start - 40.110 | Erhvervsstyrelsen’ (Registering a non-Danish business - start - 40.110 - the Danish Business Authority) or Registration of Non-Danish business - Start - 40.112 | Erhvervsstyrelsen)
• Click ‘Start selvbetjening Som medarbejder med ID fra et EU/EAA land’ (Start self-service - As employee with an ID from an EU/EAA country), and then choose your country. If your country does not appear on the list, or if you wish to register manually, click the plus sign next to ‘Blanket’ (Form). A text box is shown.
• Click ‘blanket 40.110’ (form 40.110 or form 40.112 for the English version) in the text.
• A manual form will open.
• Fill in the form. In the comments field, write that you wish to report income from sharing economy activities
• Send the form to virksomhed@erst.dk

If you have provided a Danish address

When the registration has been processed, a registration certificate will be generated. You can find it in E-tax for businesses under Profile. To access E-tax for businesses, go to www.skat.dk and log on as a business. You must register with the business’ MitID to log on to E-tax for businesses.

If you have not provided a Danish address

Once the registration has been processed, a registration certificate will be generated, and we will send it by letter to the foreign address that you have provided.

You can also find your registration certificate in E-tax for businesses under Profile. To access E-tax for businesses, go to www.skat.dk and log on as a business. To log on to E-tax for businesses, you must have an E-tax password which you will receive from the Customs and Tax Administration. We can only send you a password if you have provided an email address.
